The Groove Team 

Leo Barbera - Director

The business is owned and operated by Leo Barbera.  Leo has over 20 years experience in the ceramic tile industry in Brisbane and the Gold Coast.  Starting out as a contract tile layer and later as owner of a retail outlet with Franchise Group Metro Tiles, he understands the technical side of tiling and has acquired a broad knowledge of products as well as management techniques.

Now very proud to be operating as Groove Tile + Stone Leo Barbera is responsible for the overall management of the business and the buying from overseas manufacturers. He is continually investigating new manufacturers and their products in an ongoing effort to supply lines of tiles that reflect the current tile trends and satisfy the needs of our clients.

Megan Metcalfe – Sales Manager

Sales Manager Megan Metcalfe with a remarkable 10 year history of working alongside Leo has played a significant role in the start up of Groove Tile + Stone and shares the excitement of the business development.  Megan’s extensive knowledge makes her a very valuable part of our team overseeing all sales operations.  Dedicated to builders, architects and interior designers she offers her expert advice and wealth of information with tile selections, sourcing specific products, providing samples, and display boards.  Megan is very passionate about her work, driven by the satisfaction of supplying fantastic products and making the whole tile experience for our clients easy and effortless.

Terri Barbera – Finance/Marketing Manager

Responsible for operations, procedures and marketing the Groove brand Terri Barbera also has 15 years experience in the tile business.  Originally from a corporate background and later as co-owner of Metro Tiles Franchise Outlet she is equipped with the knowledge to support the sales team achieve their goals and promote the professional development of the company
